a quick & short one before i go off.
pictures speak the truth!

yea, there's this paper craft model i recevied around two weeks ago,
by WENHSHAN JIEJIE!

& the inner contents. i have absolutely no idea why the picture when uploaded turns out like this(!)
my, you need a lot of patience to do this.
to cut out all edges smoothly.
my mom has more patience than i!

& the ending product!
Korila was the first one who's done,
so its a bit tattered,
for rilakkuma, its bigger & so its easier to fold the edges & glue them.
update mummy's birthday dinner at ajisen next post :P
hmmm, i am off :D

SOMEONE tell me how to take the YOG shirt & pants measurements?
i was thinking, how to take all the measurements?
there's even XXS & 5XL.

NOW's to recount about camp!
this year's camp's fairly okay, just that there's no much tough substance in it,
& by that people would slack.
anddd, please exlcude the VERY LONG LONGGGGG debriefs!
they are not very alright when debriefs ended 1am in the morning.
& you can see everyone's eyes going to close, on the small spot we are sitting on.
basically ,during debriefs our eyes are just that seriously tiny & small.

1stday, *to my delight* we cancelled the hike !
i am not in a very good condition to going hiking,
so then i must thank the rainy weather that made my hand carrier bag wet.
i think i was late for around two minutes, not much =.=
we had a BBQ-ed dinner in the evening,
every one's leaving the nicely bbq-ed prawns beside & going for squids & sausages instead.
and then we bbq-ed the marshmallows, which finished really fast.
1st day vetting was enough to made me & Jaslyn upset & disappointed, & not to exclude disappointed.
the campfire was going to start the next day,
while their singing's not even up to our standard,
so we are like super frustrated!
but things got better the next day, & when Yuping ma'am came to vet their performance.

-skip skip skip-
to third & final day!
we played water bombs!
i didn't really played, but got wet all the same.
Qianwen, Jaslyn & me were at the corner of the volley ball court as we didn't want to get wet,
even through we are in our black shirt.
then, i saw Jiaqi carring the pail of water bombs we rushed earlier on to make,
then i went over take another pail,
just then suddely chaos bombed!
they were saying they don't want so much rules,
& then start ignoring the rules,
Jiaying ma'am came over to snatch the pail of water bombs i was holding,
then i was like, die die don't let go!
then i got bombed for nothing!
so in front of my shirt there's this wet wet patch.
grrrr!
after court has chaos all over, i saw jiaying ma'am running towards our corner with a red pail of water,
then i was like"omg! faster run!",
so i turned & ran away,
somehow i see laura infront of me as i ran.
the corner we all was standing at was actually the spot where some of the phones are placed,
& ta-da, they are all wet,
& we are frantically wiping them dry wth our shirts!
& look at Jaslyn using my shirt to wipe her phone dry.
so mean!

imagine my horror when i saw more & more Physics quizzes showing up at the asknlearn portal.
now i have more homework, & that number's increasing.
& i am so sad!
i started off with only one last quiz left at the portal for me to finish,
& hohoho,
i am all done!
& then as a few days go by, Mrs Goh's adding the number of quizzes D:
i wouldn't be sadder!

yea,
i pomise i promise i will do my paper rilakkuma tmr!
& to read my manga, not to mention evernight which i barely started, ten pages!

i know i am always smitten with fooddddd!
who doesn't love to eat!

1June 2010 @Tampines Shopping Malls.
fallen in love with Yamakawa Super!
the japanese foods there are quite expensive,
but when the foods are about to expire,
around two weeks close to expiry date,
they are sold off for 50 percent !
& its not like the foods when brought home is going to last for two weeks or what,
since they get polished off very easily!

罗春阁. 上海生煎包 ShangHai Fried Pork Buns. there's the gravy flowing out when you take a bite of the chewy skin!

Not to mention the yellow jelly, with two ingredients inside (?).
& then my favourite blackcurrant juice, all in a set for $4.50 !

Mummy munching the pork buns!

Sanrio Hello kitty Marshmallows! its sweet yet not to sweet,
not to mention the really cute & colourful packaging!

& they are almost gone now after three weeks.

Now i still want to read Evernight by Claudia Gray!
& can you keep a secret by sophie kinsella!

i know i wasn't blogging for like close to two months,
was waiting for the feeling of blogging to be back again.
it was gone for around like three months.
yea, now shall resume blogging (:
since i uploaded pictures, should first explain the batch of Nanyang Poly Labby pictures!
we went to nanyang poly like ....on.... * checks scheduler*
Tues on 18 May!
& my, that sounds far through.
we went to the labby there to make soap, not really successful,
but i made peach flavour(?) & in Violet colour, its supposd to be violet,
but turned out to be a rich & creamy orange,
not bad, just that my soap died!

jelly moulds.

Universal indicators! there's four colours in one!

the apparatus.
& thats all the pictures i taken in that mere few hours. except for some other photos~
came back from camp & realise, the amount of reading i have like,
lined or stacked up for this holiday!
suddenly books i have longed to read was like queueing up,
& not to even mention my homework thats too, stacking up like a mountain!
& yea, glad that camp was over & done with.
i was seriously pissed off at the vetting on day one,
when i see all the attitude problems thats hard to change even when scolded.
Nice to see efforts paid off,
when Team Ruby won Camp Gem 2010!
i have some other pictures coming on :D
pictures that are saved in this few months.

its a pictures post :)
so get prepared for lots of pictures ahead.
as you know, i love pictures~
there's a lot & alot of dozens in my computer,
that goes without saying.

& i simply love volcanoes!

An eruption of volcano in Iceland, the sunrise is especially pretty.

instead of a natural disaster, Volcano eruption is much prettier, but the destruction it causes is just as bad.
below's pictures i extracted from San-x website!

Rilakkuma cream roll cakes!
too pretty to be eaten. -salivates-

aren't this really cute.
Who dares to eat such a pretty cream roll cake?

Okie,. food nowadays are more meant to be eaten literally than really EAT them.

Korila Kamaboko, stuff that are cut in pieces & place in........

B.E.N.T.O.! thats so simply convenient for japan mothers & kids!

saw a blog recently that are all make up of really pretty pictures,
it features a theme in every post,
& the owner go scout for pictures according to that theme on the internet.
& it expresses quite a lot of stuff,
even if there's no words.
its a pretty good idea, so i am trying to share pictures in my posts too,
pictures paint a thousand words.

long since i updated :)

shouldn't start with all those little details over the past few weeks.
so, friday was the day the sec3s could finally walk into the Redcross room & put our bags in!
yipee!
so when it was time for the rest to ask for permission to enter the room & take their bags,
we OBVIOUSLY,
besides pushing the door hard, so they couldn't open it after several tries,
then we spy through the windows :D
after a lot of fussing,
when they are finally allowed to enter, then we switch off the lights again!
its fun to be inside while they are at the outside trying to pull open the door.

its been an all hectic week, staying back & stuff.
didn't have the time to do loads of things.
when weekends finally came,
i realise, i have tons of things to do too.
homework piles up at the weekend,
with the newpapers i have yet to read piles up too.
ends up my post it note will be filled with tasks i want to do.
& week after week, i have a full filled post it note.
ends up i couldn't even finish reading shopaholic & baby.

Uploaded Pictures from my phone today, so its going to be a picture post!

This is simply adorable! Hugging book belt anyone?
so i brought it for $2! Its Daiso japan @ Rivervale Mall -smirk-

Its Sanrio chops! its in a basket,
too bad there isn't a winnie-the-pooh!
but its still cute, the chops are different from ours.
Daiso has some sanrio stuff in now, small little things.
i saw a toy, a passport cover, hello kitty pencil case, shopping bags & chops that are from sanrio!
Daiso has such a variety of sweets & candies!
i like the atmosphere & light there, its quite bright ;D

Sweet Potato Flavor, there isn't much left of these in rivervale daiso anymore, i think its getting out of stock.
i collected both the sweet potato & chocolate flavor already,
so nevermind!
its quite tasty in fact.

canned sweets! we don't see much of these sweets around that often anymore,
its started to vanish in our generation.
its real cute anyway, looks like a toy...

its a Clover book Cover Jacket.
i wnated to buy this too, but its far too small even for an A5 size notebook.
so i have to say bye!
Mom brought the new popping up Letter Stickers for my black keyboard,
looks pretty nice!

香麦奶茶!
endorsed by S.H.E, on sale in China only,
its sold , like for Twenty cents when converted for one sachet.
all thanks to daddy's friend for giving them to me :D
haven't quite drink them yet,
sure it tastes nice JUDGING BY THE COVER!

there's like, eight pictures in this post!
good progress ?

its been long since i blogged?
its been like, three weeks.

recently, i am still reading The Pact, I KNOW i am slow!
but i am getting used to jodi picoult's style,
duno whether its because i read too much leading up to the point of familiarity,
or is it that her style is the same throughout her books,
As The pact & Nineteen minutes had similarities unable to be denied.

so right now, School term one ended.
& here comes our term one progress report.
wasn't really totally satisfied.
i could nvr be satisfied anyway,so !
there's always another higher target.
was hoping for getting six distinctions by the end of this year.
hoohoo, Physics' my lousiest Subject right now,
even Maths scored much better.
its because i scored an F9 (!) for the first test & an A1(!!) for the second test,
ends up they took the average of both.
hmm, & not to mention lots of complaining of holiday homework!
there's tons.
as if its a month, the teachers keep giving homework out.

as if we could be bored.

screw all ur thoughts of igloos after u seen this picture.
its so scary to live underneath all that snow, & the surroundings are all white.
Miss Tey was talking about the Inuits (Eskimos) ytd as we were going through a comprehension passage,
& i did a little research today!
there are 150,000 people living in that artic region up to today ,
living in those harsh conditions,
no computers, no such thing as MRT, no HDB.
they don't have mosquitoes either, do they?
there's some wordings at the entrance of the igloo~

All my little bubbles about the Eskimos when i was younger all turns out to be distorted.
People in furry coats, different skin colour, lives in igloo made out of blocks of ice.
there's no furry coats, & they look rather the same as us,
i thought the igloo one was correct until today when i did some research on wikipedia & found the picture on the very top of this blog post,
& realise there's no blocks of ice?

North pole & South pole's as mysterious as they sound, so full of mystery!

heehee, currently there isn't any tests scheduled on Thursday, YET!
if there's a test this thu again, its currently five weeks in a row.
so, officially, i think Thursday's the day i detested the most!
its a long day too.
there's always a test scheduled that day,
& Physics's normally on Thurs.
& the point is, i am totally lousy at Physics,
a fact i knew all along,
so that isn't such a bad blow?
& now Monday's my favouruite cum relaxing day already!
i get to sleep late, go to school late, sleep late on sundays!
i guess i didn't like Tues, either.
since there's so many books to carry.
& tues's a long day.

Social Studies's got quite some structure to memorise, don't it?
i think i wrote quite some crap on the paper,
but its the crap we have to write, to gain the couple of marks.
i am so relieved that by 2012, we could have taken our O- levels!
by then, as written on the paper, SS might be one dependant subject!
oh my, thats seriously boring.
its the same as history, anyway.

taught Health laws at Redcross training ytd, its me & Jaslyn!
you couldn't say its a hundred percent, do you?
health law's considered simple to teach compared to the other things.
i hope its fine generally.
since its so hard to teach class things & ensure that they understand.
its sunday, & tmr's another tiring week.

Phew, the week's finally came to an end!
time for me to chiong Nineteen Minutes!
haven't finished it after a long long time already.
didn't want to keep extending,
i feel so gulity, others maybe wanting to queue for it?
okie, i have to study for tests & after tests,
preparing for lessons & homework. (mountains ~~~)
so there's not much time for me to squeeze in reading anymore.
last weekend , three days, i didn't even touch a single page of Nineteen minutes!
thats how busy Sec3 life is.

okie, the similarities between Off Centre( my Lit text if you don't know) & Nineteen Minutes is really unbelievable.
every few pages, the similiarities are there,
tooo hard to be neglected.
so i copied quotes from the book, hoping to use them in my essays!
i thought the quotes are really good.
so far Nineteen minutes is the one book i copied the most quotes.

have to find time to tidy the wardrobe.
all the teachers gave for chinese new year's homework, seriously?
not even chocolate money this year.
already tired with all the facebook games,
guess will be dropping them all.

its my fifteen!
ohmy, i am older by one year now.

thanks to all the people who had birthday wishes for me,
as i heard every single one/ read every single one, hoohoo!
today went by pretty fast.
had lessons to twelve thirty, then went to change into mufti & had lunch.
which i had no appetite as i was feeling feverish.
& we had one sabotaging session during training as Yuping ma'am was writing down practically every Sec3's name for the arts fest,
& so we are like sabo each other,
in the end everyone got pulled down into the waters ;D
doesn't everyone knows when i sing i get broken tune?
well, its never too late to know.
& Yuping ma'am made me the ic.
haiz. ( takes a long breath!)

i went off at three thirty,
the moment i got home, knocking at the front door,
there was this sudden downpour?
how accurate?

had always wanted to talk about Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult,
as usual, its an excellent book for literature,
saw this few lines in the book two days ago,
which IS the same as Off Centre, the message it wanted to get across.
so i think both of the authors are actually addressing the sensitive issues of society,
one for mentally ill, Jodi Picoult for the ones who are silently bullied.
"That was the way this society worked: you were only at the bottom of the totem pole until you could find someone else to take your place."
its a rather sad book actually,
if u were a magnet for attracting bullies,
everytime u get a new lunchbox, it gets threw out of the window of the sch bus by sch bullies.
& they think its fun, while you, back at home gets scolded by ur parents who think they knows you,
but yet they knew nothing at all.
& they assume u lost ur lunchbox, unaware of how u were bullied.
& ur parents compare u to ur older brother which they assume is a so called golden boy,
& u lived in comparison all ur years?
how sad, isn't it?

well, thanks to everyone again!
P.S my eyelids are so heavy! & its only nine !

starting from this week,
our school introduced the " If anyone from ur class are late on monday, you need to come earlier the following week" rule :x
& if anyone from ur class didn't wear tie, ur class should wear the tie for the whole week.

& its so embarrassing,
that we had to be the only upper sec class to wear the tie for the whole of this week.
i feel like a doggie with a leash :x
& plus we are the only class with three person late on this monday,
therefore the next week we should come two hours earlier for USSR all the way.
i feel so utterly embarrassed !
but the embarrassing moment is over already, so!
hehe, purposely volunteered for Project RICE ,
to stand by at the redcross room there on the coming monday,
7.30 to 8.30am!
so i don't waste time , instead, be on standby mode beside redcross room!

there goes my monday, tada!

Friday, January 22, 2010 9:55 PM

received my blackie school diary ytd!
its a nice one, compared to what i have received over the years.

finally finished Picture Perfect & i went ahead to borrow Nineteen Minutes since i saw it on the shelf.
unable to resist, you see!
i wrote a narrative in the english lesson today,
since its about Power, i written a essay about the Power of Abuse.
which was super risky,
i had never tried writing an essay like this,
plus the marks could be recorded as CA marks.
i had the inspiration from Picture perfect~
i read jodi picoult books cos they are my favourite style,
so i tend to follow her way of writing,
trying to improve my essay skills.
so when i finished the essay,
i handed it over to Miss Tey for her to read through,
having the idea if she's going to say no,
i am absolutely going to rush another one out.
well, she said its was not bad, so i can infer she will more or less pass me.
when Miss Tey's into the third paragraph or so, she was saying that my essay is a bit like jodi picoult's novel.
so at least i retained a bit of her style alright.

yeah, & i got news from our character coaches that we are going to Cambodia for service learning for sec3s this year.
& its in the march holidays, for five days.
there goes my one week holiday.
& it costs $1000 to get to Cambodia & so on & so forth.
four hundred out of moe's pocket,
& six hundred comes from our edusave.
not a cent from our pocket yet.
but i thought one thousand just for going to cambodia is kind of ridiculous.
with this amount of money,
one could at least go taiwan or so?

went for redcross training today,
me & yingern was the games ic,
& we sort of improvise on the spot a lot.
played wind blow wind, then Double Whacko & Ouch!
i liked looking from behind when i see them playing wind blow wind,
running like crazy ;D
had footdrill after that,
everything except my terrible timing is ok,
i am a terrible timer!
i need lots & lots of practice.
i still rmb the commands, good thing.
i thought i have wiped them out of my memory.
had an hour of footdrill under the sun, everyone was tired,
we had lessons then we had redcross,
who won't be worn out?

i am tired at ten at night already.
should go off to read the newspapers!

its almost impossible to pick up speed during reading jodi picoult novels.
they are all flashbacks, & you need to piece all of them togther to get the big picture,
& of course involves some time.

spent some quality time cutting my newspapers today!
i doing official work hor!
Miss Tey wants to have an article, pasted onto a jotter book.
i picked an facebook related article,
which i think was much more interesting.
i rather have an interesting one than a normal kind of article alright.
similar to what i done during my P5 & P6 years,
P5 i have to pick an article, as time goes, it will be my turn to present to the class on the article.
P6, we go through articles in The Little Red Dot paper,
cut articles selected by Mrs Yu out, then paste into compo book.

i survived the first week of official lessons, hoho!
-claps!-
three periods of chemistry almost made me fell asleep,
was yawning at nine in the morning.
Chemistry is interesting, but ....
just have to be accustomed to Miss Toh's dearest teaching methods all over again, right.
shouldn't be looking out of the window then later after school then i go read my textbooks anymore, (oops! erase that, don't remember it!)
i am not sec two anymore, hehe.
i coped , should be quite well for the first week of lessons.
please be so for the next whole year!
at this rate at least a six As is more realistic ;D
guess ? i didn't fall asleep for three straight periods of Physics!
& i had my calculations correct too,
which is such an rare sight.
when i was setting my resolutions 2010,
was when i realise how high i set my goals to freaking be.
looking back, there was a lot of difference between when i was a sec one,
to when i was sec three.
attitude & goals setting are really different now.
i am shaking off wad i used to do,
not listening to lessons & only revise on my own at home.
that works when i was sec two & sec one,
sec three i am not going to try that out.
i hope my resolutions doesn't crumble by the next month or so.

managed to pass both of my english & maths diagnostic test,
which i only studied the formulas,
& my brain's still in holiday mood.
how rare for me to pass both of them,
since i normally didn't do so well for it.
hmm, who cares about sec two,
its sec three.
a new beginning.
its the first week of lessons & i am already trying to jaggle between all my stuffs.
to read my jodi picoult novel everyday, which i get to read no more than ten pages a day except during weekends,
& to read my literature text, Off Centre everyday too, till i finish the play.
& of course to do homework, read the textbook, revise,
prepare for next day lessons.
my motto is always read-up first! be one step ahead at the very least.
i am juggling between stuff to do & my brief 24 hours.
hope i am a good juggler, practise makes perfect & so!

if i am already at 3e4, i better top the class . had been through too much in these three years that i knew only good grades let you survive in our cohort.

was searching for my Literature Notebook for an hour today,
walking in & out of bookshops.
i figured that if i am using that one book for two years,
i should have one pretty & not a eyesore.
so searched for ages before getting one.

keep looking at capsule toys online at the blogshops,
& i am certain that my favourite character other than Pooh 's Stitch!
its cute isn't it.
i guess when its first on the movie, its was when i was in primary school,
somewhere there.
my, the keychains are so cute!
